雅思阅读到底在考察什么呢? 词汇语法, 没有任何一种英语考试不考察这个. 快速阅读, 确实是一个考查重点, 我们会在之后详细讲解. 概括能力? 这并不是考察重点, 包括Heading题也是如此. 还有一项重点中的重点----同义替换.我们先要澄清一个误区，同义替换不是同义词，而是另一种转述方式，我们直接看一些例子:

原文：

Witness agree that she was not hit by the French, some maintain that she was outdated …, others that …

题目：

There is some doubt about what caused the Mary Rose to sink (C11T2P1)
其中Agree …… some maintain…… others …… → doubt 属于描述型的替换。如果我们做过一定量的题目后会发现，类似替换词会被反复考察

原文：

Some researchers say …… others believe ……

题目：

Researchers with differing attitudes to telepathy agree on …… (C8T1P3)
其中some say……others believe…… → differing attitudes，考察方式和剑11中的题基本一致，我们做完题目后把替换词划出来才算彻底做完了一道题，而不是知道答案或是翻译句子了就算做完。

原文：

Adults can often identify … women and men were able to distinguish by smell alone clothing worn by marriage partner.

题目：

… people recognize the ____ belonging to their husbands and wives. C8T2P2
不难找到Recognize → distinguish, 得出答案clothing。除此之外，还有多组替换，marriage partner→husbands and wives，其中一组很简单的对应词，Adults→people在这道题中是不起眼的替换词, 但是在另一题中就直接决定了C6T4P2中第14题的答案。

因此我一般会要求烤鸭们把题干中的所有替换词都找出来. 再和我已总结好的替换对照，单纯地背替换词是用处不大的，之后还是会遇到词认识，但对应不起来的情况。剑四第一套题，每道题中的题干词，大家回到原文中找找看吧！
